Ron Amor, a retired scientist and philosopher with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts and a great love of the Yarra River, is launching his book, “Explore The Yarra”.

He invites readers to “experience with him this wonderful 240 km river through the passage of time and space, from its source near the Mount Baw Baw Snowfields, to the bay-side playground of Williamstown”

He says “Explore The Yarra” is about his ‘love for the river and his response to it as an artist’ He has painted-through illustrations, maps and words-stories of past and present characters in colourful detail.

The exhibition and launch will be officially opened by Mr Ian Penrose, “Riverkeeper” for the Yarra Riverkeeper Association, on Sunday 4^th October at 3.00 PM and will be held at the Stonehouse Gallery
